Artist Profile

Ayub Raoof Born in 1985, Sulaimaniyah Graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Sulaimaniyah, 2008. He became an art teacher at a primary school in 2009, and during the same year, he became a plastic arts trainer at the Youth Activity Center in Sulaimaniyah. In 2012, he launched his solo exhibition. In 2018, he graduated from the College of Art at the University of Sulaimaniyah. Participated in over 30 collective exhibitions inside the country and abroad. One of the founding members of the Suly On Group.He is currently an art teacher at a primary school and a plastic art trainer at the Youth Activity Center in Sulaimaniyah.

2018 Bachelor degree from fine Art University of sulaymaniah.
2003-2008 Graduated in Sulaymaniyah Fine Arts Institute /Visual arts dept.
Volunteer/ Qandil Swedish Humanitarian Aid Organization, drawings at IDP schools.
September.2012 opened first Personal Exhibition, presenting 24 various Size paintings.
October.2009 Supervising Youth center Painting Exhibitions of (Sulaymaniyah-Koya-Khanaqin)/ Sulaymaniyah, Emna Suraka Gallery hall.

2009-2014 / Art class teacher in Kaniymil school at Sharazoor District.
2005-2008 Art class teacher/ worked for Kurdistan Save the Children Organization at /Kaziway Bazyan center.
2007-present /Administrative member and co-founder committee member for SulyOn Media group.
Currently Working as Fine art class supervisor and teacher in Sulaymaniyah Youth activity Center.

Took First Place Award From Second Painting Competition of Youth Freedom Organization – 2009.
Took Second Place Award From First Painting Competition of Youth – Freedom Organization – 2007.
Received (Seven) Respect and Appreciation certificates from Sharazoor Education Administration for being an active class teacher.
Received Respect and Appreciation for best artist of the year in Sulaymaniyah- Kurdistan Artists Syndicate, February.2017.
